Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and revise an occupational and environmental safety management plan and policy. Report and keep record of incidents, data, statistics, audits as well as progress and performance of the team and the employees Collaborate in identification, conception and correction of work factors, prevention of injuries and diseases of staff and works to minimize health and injury risks for employees in the hospital. Identify epidemiologically significant infections and staff at high risk for exposure to and transmission of infection and implements a staff vaccination ad immunization program. Prevent negative health effects of hazardous work environments from affecting employees Monitor employee’s medical history and identify abnormalities and determine which are caused by adverse work conditions Manage occupational health issues from pre-employment which includes routine health assessment, manual handling, workplace violence, staff vaccination, occupational exposures, work related injuries, exposure to transmissible diseases, second victims and other related occupational health issues.
