Welcome to the Pharmacy Department

Division of Pharmacy at SKSH is committed to providing superior patient centered pharmaceutical care in a safe and professional environment with excellent customer service. Our licensed Pharmacists are part of the multidisciplinary patient care team at Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital.

 

Services provided include Inpatient and Outpatient medication order verification and dispensing, Patient Counseling, Parenteral Medication Preparation including Oncology admixtures and Parenteral Nutrition, Clinical Pharmacy services and Drug Information.

 

Inpatient Pharmacy operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Outpatient Pharmacy operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday and from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday. Outpatient Pharmacy offers counseling and education in a safe and confidential environment for each prescription dispensed.

Pharmacy engages in standardizing processes, implementing best practices that improve patient health, managing the formulary prudently, and applying clinical acumen throughout the entire medication management and use process. There is close collaboration between Pharmacy and the three centers of excellence (Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neuroscience center) and the other clinical divisions in order to provide superior and sustainable health care service to patients and the community.
