Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. In the division of medicine in SKSH, we will deal with disorders in heart, endocrine system, digestive system, lungs, and infectious diseases.

Besides care for acute clinical condition, we also provide comprehensive long term care for chronic diseases which are major causes of mortality and low quality of life such as diabetes, and hypertension. And we provide rehabilitation therapy for patients who have a functional disability to improve quality of life.
