Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah organized a lecture about pediatric neurology. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Nicholas M. Wetjen, MD in Mayo Clinic and attended by 35 medical, nursing and AHP staff.

Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed Al Hashimi, CGIO stated that the lecture comes as part of the hospital’s role to cooperate with international hospitals in order to give the opportunities to all the medical staff review the latest medical updates especially those related to pediatric and neurology such as pediatric epilepsy.

“SKSH-RAK gives top priority to organizing lectures, seminars and workshops and encourages CME programs for all the medical, nursing and AHP staff to raise their standards in all fields”, he said.

The lecture highlighted the latest updates in the pediatric neurology field, available treatments for neurology especially epilepsy and other pediatric diseases.
