Senior Officer, Quality

  • Experience : Planning and execution of hospital-wide accreditation programs. Planning and developing strategies to improve patient safety and quality Specific Duties and Responsibilities:  Responsible for acquiring and assuring continuous regulatory and accreditation compliance including, but not limited to JCI, MOH and licensing boards for the facilities.  Develop work plans, timelines and gap analysis to assess and lead a regulatory survey readiness program planning to support the hospital's mission, values, and business objectives.  Conducts training and coaching to facilitate understanding of accreditation standards and requirements and supervises assigned Establishes mechanisms for proactive identification and correction of regulatory issues.  Collaborates with Leadership staffs to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and local regulations pertaining to patients’ rights; develops implements and revises policies and procedures as necessary related to the assigned department.  Facilitates Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Sentinel Events, and on a case to case basis for incidents or near misses.  Requests action plan from respective departments that require action or improvement  Follows-up implementation of actions as planned by respective departments  Provide education to all SKSH staff regarding Patient Safety practices
  • Qualification : MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor of science in Nursing or Business management required Five (5) years’ clinical experience required and including Two (2) years in Nursing experience. PREFERRED:  Master of science in Customer Service Management, Quality Management, Business Management, or Communications preferred.  Hospital accreditation or customer experience management preferred
