HoEun, Chang, Senior supervisor of Laboratory Medicine in Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital was honored with ‘The excellent paper prize’ in the 34th congress of The Korean Society of Blood Transfusion (KSBT) on 16, May 2015.

The Korean Society of Blood Transfusion (KSBT) is a society which contributes to blood transfusion and improves national health in Korea and promotes the exchange of knowledge.

The KSBT has been publishing the society’s journal “The Korean Journal of Blood Transfusion (KJBT)” and holding scientific congress annually.In annual congress, she was awarded ‘The excellent paper prize’ for “Genotyping for RhD and RhCEce Antigens Using Free Circulating Nucleic Acids in Plasma and Serum” (Korean J Blood Transfus 2014;25:249-259).

The KSBT hosted the 33rd international congress of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) in Seoul, 2014 successfully. The 34th international congress of the ISBT will be held in Dubai, 2016.
