A specialized medical team at Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah was able to end the suffering of a citizen patient in her fifth decade of life, who started with her 30 years ago, by re-performing heart surgery, which is the first time that heart surgery has been repeated in the hospital. The surgery was successful for a period of no less than 7 hours, and the patient is currently enjoying stability in her medical condition, according to Dr. Ji Min Chang, consultant cardiovascular surgery and head of the Excellence Center for Cardiovascular Diseases.
